I traveled to western Sichuan and Gannan during the May Day holiday. I was originally heading for Zhagana. Heta Hot Spring Valley was just a scenic spot along the way, but I didn’t expect it to become my favorite of the trip. This may be the beauty of traveling. You don’t have to set a destination in advance, because everything along the way will surprise you.

-When you arrive at the scenic spot, don’t rush to check in. The road next to the gate of the scenic spot is also a treasure check-in point (Figure 2). Go forward along the road, and there are herds of cattle and sheep on the grasslands on both sides, as if you are going to a fairy tale world.
-After entering the scenic area, first hike in the direction of the sky. The viewing platforms along the way are very beautiful, and you can overlook the panoramic view of the scenic area from a high place (Figure 8).
-There are natural hot springs in the hot spring valley. Due to the itinerary, I didn’t go in this time, so I can’t share it with you~
-The ultraviolet rays on the plateau are strong, and the temperature difference between day and night is large. Pay attention to sun protection and keep warm. It is recommended to wear down jackets and cotton jackets outside, and wear light and thin clothes suitable for taking pictures inside.
-The average altitude of Ruoergai is about 3500, so avoid running and jumping and other strenuous exercises. I stayed in Ruoergai County the night before. When I first arrived, my lips were black [Em]. I adapted for a night and went out to play full of energy the next morning!
Note: Altitude sickness is related to personal physique and the state at the time. It does not matter whether you are male or female, regardless of age, so you must pay attention to it.
