⛰️ What are the Eastern Qing Tombs like?

Hidden in the mountains of China's Hebei Province, the Eastern Qing Tombs are a magnificent group of tombs where the Qing Dynasty's emperors and empresses rest. Surrounded by tranquil greenery, the beautiful gates, stone statues, and mysterious architecture create a sense of time travel.

Particularly famous are the tombs of Emperor Shunzhi, Emperor Kangxi, Emperor Qianlong, and Empress Dowager Cixi. Their dazzling decorations and layout based on feng shui make this a must-see for history buffs.

• Xiaoling Mausoleum (Tomb of Emperor Shunzhi): This is the tomb of Emperor Shunzhi, the first emperor to rule Beijing during the Qing Dynasty, and the oldest of the Eastern Qing Tombs.
• Yuling (Emperor Qianlong's) and Dingdong Tomb (Empress Dowager Cixi's): The underground palaces are open to the public, allowing you to see actual coffins and decorations up close. It's truly magnificent and spectacular!
• Shinto (Shrine Approach): The approach, lined with giant stone statues, exudes a tranquil and solemn atmosphere, cleansing the soul.

•🚄 [Train]: Approximately 1.5 hours from Beijing Station or Beijing East Station to Zunhua Station. From there, take a taxi or bus for approximately 30-40 minutes.
•🚌 [Long-distance Bus]: Approximately 2.5 hours by bus from Beijing Sihui Bus Terminal to Zunhua. → Taking a taxi from Zunhua to the Qing Eastern Tombs is convenient.
•🚗 [Car Access]: Approximately 150 km from central Beijing, approximately 2.5 hours by car. Many guided local tours are also available.
