🕍 Grossmünster Church – “Great Minster”

Located on the east bank of the Limmat River in Zürich’s Altstadt (Old Town), directly opposite Fraumünster and connected by bridges like Münsterbrücke. This Romanesque-style church is characterized by its thick walls, rounded arches, and a simple yet sturdy structure. Its famous twin towers are an iconic feature of Zürich’s skyline. The interior is relatively plain, reflecting the simplicity of Protestant design compared to Catholic churches.

🌄 Tower Climb (Karlsturm)

Visitors can climb the towers for one of the best panoramic views of Zürich, including the Old Town, Limmat River, Lake Zürich, and even the distant Alps on clear days.
