On the morning of June 13, I boarded the plane from Nanjing Lukou Airport and "practiced" all the way west!

Life can be earth-shattering, it can be without glory and wealth, but it cannot be without a little self-pursuit of dreams. There are not many decades in life, if you can do it now, you will regret it in the future! In any case, I have to go to Tibet to fulfill the promise of heaven!
On the morning of June 13, Chengdu Airlines' flight EU2204 (price from Nanjing to Chengdu 482 yuan + fuel tax 50 yuan) took off on time from Nanjing Lukou Airport and flew all the way to Shuangliu, Chengdu, Sichuan Province with blue skies and white clouds and a sea of clouds.
This time, without the company of my wife and family, and without the body and courage of the year of fighting, my itinerary could only do what I could, and in order to shorten the trip as much as possible, the transportation was also changed to airplanes. Because I couldn't buy a direct flight to Lhasa, coupled with my previous trip to Sichuan, I passed by Leshan and Mount Emei. This time, my entry point into Tibet is fixed in Shuangliu, Chengdu, Sichuan...... The eternal beauty, the beauty of silence, and the beauty of blue and holiness in Tibet...... Let's start with the Leshan Giant Buddha!

At 12.45 noon, the flight landed at Chengdu Shuangliu Airport on time. I walked to the Shuangliu bus terminal next to the airport, preparing to take a long-distance bus to Leshan. But when I arrived at the passenger station, I learned that the shuttle bus that originally departed here on a rolling basis was suspended due to the epidemic. If you change to the high-speed train to Leshan in Shuangliu, you will have to wait until 15.45 pm to get a car. To this end, I got a private car outside the passenger station for 90 yuan, a 137-kilometer journey to Leshan, and the driver promised to deliver me to the cruise ship dock opposite the Leshan Giant Buddha before 3:30 p.m.
From Shuangliu all the way through ups and downs, at about 3:30 p.m. that day, I arrived at the ticket office of the cruise ship terminal on Binjiang South Road in Leshan, Sichuan as I wished.Here, for 70 yuan per person, you can take a sightseeing cruise to see the Leshan Giant Buddha from the Min River. If the cruise here stops after half past 5 p.m., my plan for today will be "in vain".
Watching the panoramic view of the Leshan Giant Buddha from the Minjiang River is the most intuitive and fastest way to see the Leshan Giant Buddha. For tourists who have time and interest, they can choose to enter the Oriental Buddha Capital Scenic Area from Lingyun Temple in Leshan, and after touring the mountains and waters all the way, and then watch various parts of the Buddha from the plank road of Lingyun Mountain, which is also another way to see the Big Buddha.

The Minjiang River cruise to see the Big Buddha takes 50 minutes. The first time is to pass in front of the Big Buddha twice, the first time is to pass in front of the Big Buddha along the panting river, and when returning, you have to stay in front of the Big Buddha for about 10 minutes against the current, which is the best time to see the panoramic view of the Big Buddha.

It is a historical and cultural treasure of the Chinese nation, and in 1996, the Leshan Giant Buddha was included in the UNESCO "World Natural and Cultural Heritage Double List". Leshan, Sichuan was known as Jiazhou in ancient times and had the reputation of "Begonia Fragrance Country". Due to the impact of the epidemic again, the shuttle bus was canceled. After the station security guard's guidance, I took bus No. 8 from the bus station to bus No. 601, 1+5 yuan, and got off in front of the mountain gate of Baoguo Temple in Mount Emei. After a lot of ups and downs all the way, I finally arrived at the tourist passenger transport center in Mount Emei at the set time. 
The archway in front of the gate of Mount Emei is very imposing. "Emei is the world, and there are no mountains in the world". Today, I finally have the opportunity to come to this Buddhist holy place and the famous mountain in the world!
This is the Emei Mountain Tourist Passenger Transport Center, and the Emei Mountain Baoguo Temple Bus Station, Baoguo Temple Passenger Station, and Baoguo Temple Ticket Office that I heard before are actually the same site. Here, I bought a bus to and from Leidongping for 90 yuan + 120 yuan for the Golden Peak Cable Car at the foot of the mountain), and stored my backpack for free. Then take the scenic bus straight to Leidongping in Emei Mountain.
From the Emei Mountain Passenger Transport Center to the Leidongping parking lot is 62 kilometers, the mountain road is winding, the speed limit is 40 highways, and the journey takes about 2 and a half hours. When the bus arrived at Leidongping, it rained heavily, and the weather was very cold, and people were busy renting coats to keep out the cold. All the way to the misty rain, all the way hazy, the road to see the scenery and the monkeys. In about 30 minutes, I walked from Leidongping to the lower station of the Golden Dome Cable Car, a place called the Jieyin Hall.
Next to the station under the cable car of the Guiding Hall, there is another steep mountain road of more than 2 kilometers. If you want to save the 120 yuan cable car fee, you can go to the Golden Peak from this road, from where many climbers and foreigners climb the Golden Peak. But when climbing at an altitude of 3,000 meters, you must do what you can!
The cable car to the Golden Dome can take 100 people at a time, and it only takes 3 minutes one way.
There must be a temple, and Mount Emei is not outside. Walking past the archway in front of you, even if you officially enter the Golden Dome Scenic Area of Mount Emei.

The famous Golden Buddha of Mount Emei was consecrated in June 2006. The golden Buddha system is a bronze cast gilded craft statue, with a total height of 48 meters and a total weight of 660 tons, consisting of two parts: the pedestal and the Buddha statue of the Ten Directions. Among them, the pedestal is 6 meters high, engraved with the ten vows of the Bodhisattva on all sides, and the exterior is decorated with granite reliefs, and the statue of the Ten Directions is 42 meters high and weighs 350 tons. Visited the golden peak of Emei and the golden Buddha. I returned to the passenger transport center at the foot of the mountain. It was still early to see, and I came to Baoguo Temple to see the exterior scene.
The "Holy Evening Bell" in front of the Baoguo Temple is one of the grand scenery of Emei. This bell was cast during the Jiajing period of the Ming Dynasty by the Huguang monk Bechuan Zen Master. The bell is 2.3 meters high, 2 meters in diameter, and 10 cm thick in walls. Weighing 12.5 tons, it is the largest bell in the entire Emei Mountain. A coiled dragon is cast at the top of the large bell for hanging.
The eldest son of the Buddha and the leader of the mountain, Mount Emei is the well-deserved first mountain of Chinese Buddhism, which rises from the vast Chengdu Plain and goes straight into the sky, and is famous all over the world for its magnificent scenery of Xiujia Kyushu and the long-standing Buddhist culture.
There are more than 260 monasteries in Emei Mountain, enshrined in nearly 300 Bodhisattva statues. It is said that during the Ming and Qing dynasties, thousands of monks and nuns ate fasting and chanting Buddha all year round, and there were countless lay believers. Among them, the incense of the Puxian Dojo reached his heyday. In the evening, I took bus A5 from Baoguo Temple to Emeishan High-speed Rail Station (not Emeishan Railway Station), ate a Taiwanese braised pork rice at a fast food restaurant next to the station, and then took the last high-speed train (departing at 19.45 pm) to Chengdu Shuangliu Airport. At this point, the entire trip to Sichuan ended.
