Because I had already visited Chengdu before, and I had a soft spot for Sichuan, I decided to go to Leshan and its surroundings this time. Although it is only a short 5 days, it also achieves the purpose of eating and having fun. Very satisfied.

We picked up the car from a certain Hi Leshan Station store. I rented a car 10 days before departure and picked up the car directly when I arrived at the local area. A total of 3 places were arranged to travel, Leshan, Meishan and Zigong, and finally drove directly from Zigong back to Chengdu, returned the car at Chengdu Airport, and did not need to return the fare in another place, which was simply great. I am simply happy with this arrangement. I felt the different Sichuan from the perspective of high-speed rail and airplanes, and saw a semi-ring line.

The

Beauty of Leshan

When

we arrived in Leshan, after we picked up the car, the first stop was not the Leshan Giant Buddha, but the Leshan Xiaolu Canyon.

The Xiaolu Canyon is adjacent to the Leshan Giant Buddha in the north and the Emei Immortal Mountain in the west, less than 20 kilometers away from Leshan City, and the drive only takes half an hour, so from all angles, you have to come here. Moreover, there are super super many oaks here. It is not hot here in summer, mainly because there are so many leaves that seem to hold huge umbrellas for the canyon. Moreover, walking here can still hear the sound of the stream, which is simply wonderful.

In ancient times, there were dinosaurs here. So, my son and I are both brainstorming, if a dinosaur suddenly appears, it will be an instant travel back to the Jurassic Century.

Alpa is a living fossil. Moreover, it is a plant that predates the time of dinosaurs. If it is the kind of plant that is very old, it looks very simple and majestic now. From these plants, you can feel the vigorous vitality. Those young oaks are in that graceful state.

With the extinction of dinosaurs, many plants also became fossils. But the alder and ginkgo biloba have been preserved. They are truly great plant species that can survive ice ages, avoid various crustal movements, and survive various other natural disasters. There is also a "one trunk and three heads" oak tree in the canyon, which is said to have no record in the world.

Qiaolu Canyon is divided into Gate 1 and Gate 2, if you want to play and save effort, you can enter from Gate 2 and exit from Gate 1. Gate 2 is nine bends, the whole process goes down the steps, if you are too tired to come out of Gate 2 and go up the steps, go in and walk along the canyon, feel the lush alder jungle style, and then return the same way, and then go to Gate 1, this road is more scenic with canyons, streams and waterfalls.

When you come out of Gate 1, you can call a motorcycle to drive to Gate 2 for 10 yuan per person. From the Yulu Canyon to Leshan, the hotel I stayed in was on the edge of the Min River, at the confluence of the Min River and the Dadu River, and the room could see the Big Buddha, which was a very satisfying hotel for this trip.

Coming out of the hotel, it is Binjiang Road, stroll along the river to watch the slow river water and feel the leisurely life of the citizens, about ten minutes walk, to the food world "East Street Night Market". The next morning, I went to Wuyou Temple. Wuyou Temple is highly recommended, free and few, located on the back mountain of the Leshan Giant Buddha.

This temple was built during the Tang Dynasty. There are not many people in the temple, so it is very clean. Moreover, the architectural style here is different from other places, which is especially suitable for filming. The temple is full of red walls and blue tiles, and the color saturation is extremely high. Any shot is very good, and I also like the name, Wuyou is "worry-free". The sky was beautiful that day, very cool~

Because I had seen it before, I planned not to see the Buddha, but it was rare to see the Buddha on a cool cloudy day, so I decided to take a boat to see the Buddha, and I was super lucky, and there was no one at noon. The Leshan Giant Buddha is still worth seeing. Especially in recent years, the Leshan Giant Buddha is almost a joke. Come out of the scenic spot and go to the Shangzhongshun commercial area to feel the fireworks in Leshan.

Leshan is definitely a foodie's paradise. There are so many delicacies here. Bowl chicken, sweet duck, tofu brain, white chicken, old shumai... Looking at all kinds of delicacies along the way, I can't help but want to stop and eat. It is especially recommended that you visit the night market here to taste very authentic Leshan food.

Meishan Tour

Come out of Leshan and go to a good place for hiking with few people and beautiful scenery ~ Meishan Zhongyan Temple. Zhongyan Temple is located in Zhongyan Village, Ruifeng Town, 9 kilometers southeast of Qingshen County, Meishan City, on the east bank of the Min River. This temple was built in the Eastern Jin Dynasty, which shows that the history is very long. It is said that Su Shi still studied here when he was young, so he can still see the Dongpo Reading Building.

The

beauty of traveling is here, and unconsciously adding a little insight. Entering the temple, it is divided into a mountain road and a mountain road, which is actually a circle around the scenic spot, and there is no need to go back.

The main attractions, such as the grotto Buddha statue are concentrated in the front section of the mountain road, the downhill road is accompanied by the stream, and various plants such as alder are lush, we choose to walk down the mountain road to make it easier, the whole journey takes about 1.5~2 hours. It is relatively niche, with few people and good scenery, and it is a quiet and good place for hiking. If you are looking for natural beauty rather than an Internet celebrity check-in place, then Jedi is a good choice.

In the evening, go to Meishan Impression Water Street ~ the city that never sleeps in the Great Song Dynasty. It is said that it was crowded at the beginning, but now it has declined a lot, and many shops are closed, but it is still a good place to take a leisurely stroll.

The show starts at about 7:15 every night, and the lights are on around 8:15 in the summer. Early the next morning, we set off for the Sansu Temple. It's all here, and I must go to the Sansu Temple to check in. This place was established during the Northern Song Dynasty. As the name suggests, this is the ancestral hall of Su Xun, Su Shi and Su Zhe father and son. If you know their lives, you will know that this is a real literati and sorcerer family.

The Sansu Ancestral Hall as a whole is a garden-style ancestral hall in the Qing Dynasty. The ancestral hall includes the front hall, the hall, the Qixian Hall, the Laifeng Pavilion, the east and west wings and the corridor. Every time I visit this kind of attraction, I feel like anytime! Any food! In fact, there are different classes. After all, living conditions are very different.

Finally, I will share with you some of the delicacies we have eaten. Let's talk about the food I ate in Jianyang first. I found that a "fly house" has been open for more than 25 years, and there is an endless stream of customers, so I decided to try it. Although it is called the Fly Pavilion and the door is not big, but as soon as you enter, you are really shocked, the restaurant is simply a big factory, although there is no environment, but the taste of the dishes is good, the quantity is large and affordable.

In Zigong, living in the Chinese business district, all kinds of food, the scale of Chinese businessmen is comparable to Beijing Sanlitun. The tofu pudding rice noodles for breakfast are amazing.
