Yang Zhenning's former residence, located on Gunan Street in the ancient water town of Sanhe, is a folk house dating back to the Ming and Qing dynasties. It was formerly the long-established Sanhe Sun Dasheng Pharmacy. After several wars, with the outbreak of the Anti-Japanese War in 1937 , the young Yang Zhenning followed Lu'nan Middle School to Sanhe Feinan Middle School (now Sanhe Middle School) in the ancient town, where he lived with his mother.
The entire old residence has five courtyards, the first two are exhibitions of Professor Yang Zhenning's photos and materials, the third is where Professor Yang Zhenning lived in the past, and it has been restored to its original state, and the last two mainly display Professor Yang Zhenning's academic achievements.
