Introducing Shouxian Christian Church

Shou County Christian Church, located at the entrance of Zhaobi Alley on East Street, was first built in the 8th year of the Republic of China (1911) and completed the following year. Initially, Geng Linfu was in charge of the construction, purchasing a house from a Huang family at the entrance of Zhaobi Alley. Later, American missionary Zhao Bolin took charge of the planning and construction.

The main hall, constructed of brick and wood, has 35 rooms. The ceiling is painted in red, green, and yellow, forming a square with a circle within. A white swan sits within the design, and a golden cross hangs on the podium . Horizontal plaques reading " True Light Blessed Land " and " Together Ascend to the Holy Land " are placed on the north and south side doors. The main entrance faces east, with bluestone steps and two flower beds flanked by holly trees. Dozens of auxiliary rooms were located outside, though not all remain. However, the main hall remains in good repair, and worship services are conducted normally.
