Located on the shores of West Lake in Fuzhou, the Fujian Museum is the largest cultural infrastructure in Fujian's history. It comprises the Main Hall, the General Hall, the Natural History Museum, the Museum Garden, and other landmarks, including the Ancient Battlements and the Golden Scales Garden.

Its shape is like that of Fujian folk houses, and its decorative style is inspired by marine culture. It also integrates the stone culture of southern Fujian and the ancient architectural style of Fujian. It fully reflects the characteristics of " stone culture " in its materials.
