Qingyun Mountain Scenic Area is located in Linglu Township, Yongtai County, Fuzhou City, Fujian Province, 76 kilometers north of Fuzhou and 58 kilometers south of Putian. The scenic area encompasses over 50 square kilometers and features nine peaks exceeding 1,000 meters, with nine streams flowing through the canyons. The natural landscape is dominated by mountains, rocks, cliffs, valleys, water, waterfalls, springs, caves, pools, and a variety of flora and fauna.
The scenic area covers 47 square kilometers and boasts seven peaks exceeding 1,000 meters in altitude , with the highest peak reaching 1,130 meters. The mountains are high and densely forested, with misty clouds drifting through the air, and the area boasts unique rock formations, caves, and serene springs. The area is rich in flora and fauna, including rare species such as the spinulosa, antelopes, and macaques. Major tourist attractions include the Yuntian Stone Corridor, Huoyan Waterfall, the Shibachongxi Stone Forest, Tengshan Grassland, Tianchi Lake, and Zhuangyuan Cave and the Red Army Cave.

Start your visit at the base of Qingyun Mountain, walking along the scenic trails to the Qingyun Temple. Then, continue your hike toward the summit for panoramic views. On the way back, stop by the Qingyun Waterfall for a relaxing break before descending the mountain.
Night visits are not available, and there are no light shows or special evening tours at Qingyun Mountain. The park is best explored during the daytime, when the natural beauty of the area is most visible.
Qingyun Mountain can get crowded during weekends and public holidays. To avoid the crowds, it is best to visit on weekdays, especially in the early morning. The off-peak seasons (spring and autumn) are also quieter.
Basic facilities such as public toilets and rest areas are available along the trails. There are also food stalls and shops near the entrance, selling snacks, drinks, and souvenirs. However, more substantial dining options may be limited within the park.
