Wuji Rock is so named because the black rock on the rock resembles the beautiful bun of an ancient lady.
Wuji Rock, also known as Lingying Rock, is located on Feifeng Mountain in Jindou Town, 40 kilometers northwest of Yongchun County. First built during the Kaiyuan period of the Tang Dynasty, 1,300 years ago, it is a renowned ancient temple with unique characteristics in the Buddhist kingdom of Quannan. It is a county-level key cultural relic protection unit, a municipal-level religious venue open to the public, and an excellent tourist destination combining pilgrimage and sightseeing.
With a subtropical monsoon climate, Wuji Rock is blessed with beautiful natural beauty and mysterious sites. It is the ancestral home of the folk belief in Wuji Guanyin and is suitable for travel in all seasons.
Wuji Rock has a unique landscape and secluded scenery. It is roughly divided into five major tourist attractions: Wuji Religious Culture, Wuji Creek Water Play, Yiqingping Leisure, Lover Valley Vacation, and Wangxianping Adventure.
