Tong Guanyin Temple

The Bronze Guanyin Temple is located on Xiajie Street, at the southern foot of Guishan Mountain in Guangfu Town, Wuzhong District, Suzhou. Formerly known as the Guangfu Lecture Temple, it was built in 503 AD during the Liang Dynasty, boasting a history of over 1,500 years. Once a place for eminent monks to lecture and teach, it reached its peak during the Tang Dynasty. Because of the bronze statue of Guanyin originally enshrined within the temple, it is also known as the Bronze Guanyin Temple.

Guangfu Temple Pagoda

The Guangfu Temple Pagoda, located on Guishan Mountain in Guangfu Town, Suzhou City, Jiangsu Province, was built during the Datong period of the Liang Dynasty (535-546). Originally named the Relic Pagoda, it is said to have housed the Avatamsaka Sutra and the relics of Guangfu Temple's founder, Monk Wuche.

Xiangxuehai

Xiangxuehai, located on Dengyu Mountain in Guangfu Town, Wuzhong District, Suzhou City, Jiangsu Province, is one of China's four most famous plum blossom viewing spots. Xiangxuehai became famous throughout China after Song Lu, the Jiangsu Governor, inscribed the three characters "Xiangxuehai" on the cliff face after admiring the plum blossoms in the 35th year of the reign of Emperor Kangxi. Emperor Qianlong visited Xiangxuehai to admire the plum blossoms on each of his six southern tours. A stele bearing Qianlong's poem now stands.
