Suzhou Arts and Crafts Museum, located at No. 88, Xibei Street, Suzhou City , is a thematic museum that comprehensively reflects the arts and crafts culture of Suzhou. The museum houses over a thousand exquisite pieces of Suzhou arts and crafts, ranging from bronze artifacts from the Wu Kingdom during the Spring and Autumn Period and the Warring States Period, embroidery and jade artifacts from the Sui and Tang Dynasties, kesi silk from the Song and Yuan Dynasties, and musical instruments and costumes from the Ming and Qing Dynasties, reflecting Suzhou's millennia-long arts and crafts culture .
The arts and crafts collection mainly includes Suzhou's modern and contemporary embroidery, sandalwood fans, kesi silk, jade carving, wood carving, stone carving, theatrical costumes, Taohuawu woodcut New Year pictures, Ming-style furniture, folk musical instruments, imitation antique bronzes, lacquer carvings, metal crafts and the "Four Treasures of the Study", among more than ten categories, totaling nearly a thousand pieces of fine arts and crafts and treasures, including some representative works of 14 national-level masters of arts and crafts in Suzhou.
