Suzhou Ocean Park is located at No. 28 Huantaihu Avenue in the Taihu National Tourist Resort in Suzhou. The first phase of Taihu Water World comprises three themed areas: an aquarium, a diving hall, and an ocean theater, showcasing rare marine animals from every corner of the world's oceans.

Upon entering the aquarium, the first thing that catches your eye is one of Suzhou Aquarium's hallmarks: the exhibition of freshwater fish from the Yangtze River and Taihu Lake basins. This is reportedly the only freshwater exhibition area in China focused primarily on fish from the Yangtze River and Taihu Lake. This freshwater exhibition features the Chinese sturgeon, a nationally protected species, the Yangtze River razorfish, and various fish from Taihu Lake. In the marine animal exhibition area, rare marine creatures from the Red Sea, Indian Ocean, South Pacific, and other oceans around the world can be seen. Passing through the long, circular, transparent tunnel, visitors are immediately immersed in the experience.

The aquarium also boasts Asia's leading indoor diving facility. With a water capacity of 1,800 tons and a depth of 15.8 meters, it faithfully recreates the Maldives' pristine underwater coral environment at depths of 40-60 meters, complete with a robust biotope, allowing visitors to swim freely and experience close encounters with the fish.
