Bao'en Temple is located in the south of Ningde City, Fujian Province. It was first built by Zen Master Yuanzhuang in the ninth year of Tang Xiantong (868 AD), and rebuilt by Master Yinliang during the Qianlong period of Qing Dynasty. The last renovation was between 1981 and 1998.
