Baitang Ecological Botanical Garden, located in the northern section of the park's central Modern Avenue, forms a cornerstone with Jinji Lake and Shahu Lake. The garden's design was developed by renowned Dutch landscape design firm NITA . The garden's plant selection and landscaping emphasize ecological landscapes, with plant design, landform shaping, and water features all designed to mimic natural ecology.
The water of Baitang Lake will also be presented in its original ecological appearance as much as possible. On the one hand, the water level can be effectively controlled and connected with the external river water circulation. On the other hand, the diverse ecological communities will be naturally displayed through the winding lakeshore, river network, hillside wetlands, etc.
Baitang Ecological Botanical Garden is built according to the characteristics of the " spring, summer, autumn and winter " seasons and suitable plant growth.
