Lotus Pond Park, located approximately three kilometers due south of Slender West Lake, is the largest and most professional lotus park in Yangzhou and even in Jiangsu Province. The park, located north of the lotus pond, is shaped like a half-bird and shaded by verdant trees. It boasts a classical brick-and-wood hall and a landscape pavilion. The hall has three rooms, three corridors, and upturned eaves. A hexagonal pavilion, perched high in the northwest, boasts intricately carved panels on all six sides.

There is a greenhouse in the garden, with more than a hundred kinds of flowers and trees planted, and flowers are fragrant all year round. In spring, there are azaleas, camellias, spring orchids, and jasmine; in summer, there are fairy night-blooming cereus, water lilies, June snow, and oleander; in autumn, there are osmanthus, chrysanthemums, lymphadenia, and impatiens; in winter, there are wintersweets, bamboo shoots, etc.
