The South Gate Ruins are located east of the intersection of Nantong West Road and Nanmen Outer Street. Their significance lies not only in the "General History of Chinese City Gates," but also in clarifying various theories regarding the southern boundary of Yangzhou's Tang Luo City. This marks a new chapter in Yangzhou city archaeology and lays the foundation for determining the boundaries of the Yangzhou City Ruins.
The ruins park still preserves the ancient relics of that time, and with the small bridges, flowing water and ancient buildings, it reflects the status of Yangzhou at that time. Walking through these scenes now, you can experience the feeling of an ancient town in the south of the Yangtze River.
