Introducing Jiangsu Agricultural Expo Park

Jiangsu Hemu Agricultural Expo Park was built in October 2003 and is located in Biancheng Town, Jurong City, Jiangsu Province. It currently covers an area of nearly 5,000 acres and has a total investment of more than 200 million yuan. It has now become a comprehensive agricultural and forestry technology demonstration park with multiple functional zones integrating internships and training, scientific research and development, production and operation, science popularization education, and agricultural ecological tourism.

Our institute pioneered the soilless grass blanket project, which holds multiple national patents. Its advantages include lightweight, weed-free, high purity, and rapid growth, earning it the nickname "instant lawn." The demonstration area covers 40,000 square meters, with beds tailored to the terrain and efficient, water-saving irrigation providing high coverage and enabling four to five seasons of production annually. The soilless grass blanket project has been designated by the Jiangsu Provincial Government as a leading agricultural industry in the hilly Ningzhen area and has been awarded the second prize of the "China Shennong" Agricultural Science and Technology Progress Award. The Ecological Avenue, approximately 600 meters long and located near Songtao Lake, flows like a flowing green belt along the southeastern edge of the park. Constructed using advanced mixed seeding techniques, it maintains evergreen status year-round, is distinctive, and environmentally friendly. Along the road are the Jiangsu Provincial Seedling Germplasm Gene Bank and the Turfgrass Germplasm Gene Bank, housing approximately 860 tree species and over 80 ornamental grass varieties.
