Sanhuangzhai is a natural fortress perched on the side of Mount Shaoshi. The scenic area boasts steep slopes and a wide, flat summit. It possesses the majesty of Mount Tai, the danger of Mount Hua, the uniqueness of Mount Beiheng, and the beauty of Mount Nanheng. It is renowned in the Central Plains for its unique peaks, treacherous paths, peculiar rock formations, and breathtaking scenery. In spring and summer, lush forests bloom with fragrance, while in late autumn, the forests are ablaze with color and the mountains blanketed in crimson. In winter, the mountains dance like silver snakes and the plains gallop like wax elephants. This is a rare natural spectacle in northern China. Named in commemoration of the Three Emperors (Heavenly Emperor, Earthly Emperor, and Human Emperor) who created the world in the Songshan area, Sanhuangzhai is the only deity venerated here, transcending the three religions and devotedly worshipping the ancestors. A couplet once declared, "Leaping beyond the three realms of the mundane world, one enters a cave of white clouds."
