Qingping Mountain, a small mountain in Xinmi, rises over 600 meters above sea level. A branch of the Songshan Mountain Range, it stretches for several kilometers from east to west. Xinmi's urban area is built to the north of Qingping Mountain. Qingping Mountain Park, lushly shaded to the south of the mountain's foothills, serves as the "back garden" of Xinmi residents. Qingping Mountain has two entrances: the East Entrance and the West Entrance. The foot of the mountain offers numerous attractions, including an ice skating rink, bumper cars, and a karaoke room. Ascending the mountain from the West Entrance, you ascend the newly built stone steps, just five or six meters wide, in just over ten minutes. The mountain offers expansive views: to the south, you can see the cityscape of Xinmi; to the north, you can see the Zhengshao Expressway traversing the mountain; and to the west, you can see the Xinmi Development Zone.
The one- to two-kilometer-long stone path on Qingping Mountain offers a chance to observe the sunset. Major structures on Qingping Mountain include the Pingfeng Tower, the Radio and Television Tower, and the Monument. At the southern foot of the mountain stands the Li Er Memorial Hall (hosted by the Xinmi Taoist Association). Also offering recreational facilities such as an ice rink, billiards, and bumper cars, it is a prime destination for Xinmi residents.
The temperate monsoon climate makes it suitable for travel in all four seasons.
There are ice skating rinks, bumper cars, KTVs, etc. at the foot of the mountain. There are Pingfeng Tower, Radio and Television Tower, monuments, etc. on the top of the mountain. There is also the Li Er Memorial Hall at the southern foot of the mountain.

There are no scheduled light shows, but the park is beautifully lit during the evenings, making it a nice spot for a night walk. Special night tours are not typically offered.

The park is generally accessible for elderly and children. There are paved paths, but some hilly areas may be challenging for visitors with disabilities.
