Baimatan Lake is located 1 kilometer from the front gate of Longyuwan National Forest Park. Covering 258 square kilometers, Baimatan Lake is shaped like a large urn, remarkably smooth and round, a true masterpiece of nature. A waterfall over 20 meters long cascades down into the lake, forming a series of silver beads. Someone once used 20 bamboo poles to reach the bottom, but couldn't reach it. It's the deepest lake in the Funiu Mountains of western Henan Province.

The scenic area boasts ever-changing scenery, with interconnected ponds and waterfalls, towering ancient trees, and a 96% forest coverage rate. With 57,000 negative oxygen ions per cubic meter of air, it serves as a vast natural oxygen bar. The 5,000-meter-long trail is dotted with over 30 diverse and serene pools and over 20 majestic alpine waterfalls.
