Baimatan Lake is located 1 kilometer from the front gate of Longyuwan National Forest Park. Covering 258 square kilometers, Baimatan Lake is shaped like a large urn, remarkably smooth and round, a true masterpiece of nature. A waterfall over 20 meters long cascades down into the lake, forming a series of silver beads. Someone once used 20 bamboo poles to reach the bottom, but couldn't reach it. It's the deepest lake in the Funiu Mountains of western Henan Province.
