Xianglong Valley Scenic Area boasts not only natural beauty but also numerous cultural relics. Emperor Guangwu of the Eastern Han Dynasty, Liu Xiu; the generals of the Yang family of the Northern Song Dynasty; the "Barbarian King" of the Southern Song peasant uprising; the great Ming Dynasty general Zuo Liangyu; and the martial arts hero Zhang Sanfeng all left their mark here, adding to the scenic area's rich cultural heritage.

Early summer offers a refreshing spectacle, reminiscent of "the blossoms of April fade, and the peach blossoms of the mountain temple begin to bloom." In midsummer, when the sun blazes across the plains, the temperature here is a pleasantly cool 23-26 degrees Celsius. In autumn, the mountains are blanketed in crimson leaves, and in winter, the forests are blanketed in snow.
