Anyang Xiaonanhai Scenic Area is located in Shanying Town, Anyang County, 25 kilometers southwest of Anyang City. The main area of ​​the Xiaonanhai Reservoir is characterized by its stunning scenery of lakes and mountains, numerous springs, and numerous historical sites.

The scenic area extends from Beishanying Village in the east to Yangjiaping in the west, the main area of ​​Xiaonanhai Reservoir in the south, and Heiyu Village in the north, covering an area of ​​about 8 square kilometers. In ancient times, this canyon had a huge flow of water and a vast pool. Because it was located south of the ancient Ye City, it was called Xiaonanhai.

A Taoist temple was built in the Baiyu Valley, west of the Xiaonanhai Scenic Area, during the Tang Dynasty. It was renamed Changchun Temple after the Yuan Dynasty. From east to west, the Changchun Temple in Anyang comprises the mountain gate, a Taoist theater, a small square, the Jade Spring, the Lingguan Hall, the God of Wealth Hall, the Guanyin Hall, the Qiuzu Cave, the Jade Emperor Hall, and the Sanxiao Hall and Sanqing Hall on either side. Surrounded by verdant cypress trees and vibrant flowers, the temple is tranquil and tranquil. The Sage Pavilion is square in plan, three bays wide and three bays deep. Supported by 28 wooden pillars, the eaves are densely covered with brackets, and the corner eaves rise dramatically. The roof, adorned with yellow-green glazed tiles, is resplendent and magnificent. A wooden staircase leads to the upper level, where a statue of Confucius is housed. The Bixia Shrine, three bays wide and two stories high, stands 10 meters tall, with a gable roof and green glazed tiles. Ascending the stone steps offers panoramic views of the distant sky and water.
