
The Zhugou Revolutionary Memorial Hall, located 32 kilometers west of Queshan County, is where Liu Shaoqi and the Central Plains Bureau of the Chinese Communist Party commanded the Central Plains' Anti-Japanese War in 1939. Li Xiannian, Peng Xuefeng, Zhang Zhen, Wang Guohua, and other renowned historians, including Fan Wencan and economist Wen Jihua, fought or worked here.
During the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, Zhugou was known as " Little Yan'an " and " Little Northern Shaanxi . " The memorial hall comprises 30 former residences and 31 cultural relics . Premier Zhou Enlai personally inscribed the name " Zhugou Revolutionary Memorial Hall . " The Revolutionary Martyrs Cemetery is located 3 kilometers north of the memorial hall .
