Tianzhong Cultural Ecological Park, located at the northwest corner of the intersection of Liangzhu Avenue and Tianzhongshan Road in Runan County, Zhumadian City, is an ecological garden integrating the culture of the Book of Changes, auspiciousness, and Tianzhong. The overall layout is themed around Tianzhong Mountain, with Xiangrui Avenue and Tianzhong Avenue as the axis. It is divided into four areas: Jirui Square, Xiangrui Cultural Zone, Tianzhong Cultural Zone, and Xiangrui Industrial Park.
Tianzhong Mountain, also known as Tiantai Mountain, is a small, round hill covering approximately 540 square meters. In ancient times, Yu the Great divided the world into nine states , with Yu being the center of the nine states, and Runan being the center of Yu. Therefore, earth and stone were piled to represent the center of the sky, hence the name " Tianzhong . " The mountain is also famous for the inscription " Tianzhong Mountain " written by Yan Zhenqing himself , which still exists. Yan Zhenqing has a deep connection with Tianzhong Mountain.
From Tianzhong Mountain, you can admire Asia's largest Nanhai Zen Temple and the towering Wuying Pagoda . Six kilometers west lies Suya Lake, Asia's largest artificial lake. The founding ancestors of the Chinese nation, Pangu, Huangdi, and Leizu, all left their footprints on Tianzhong. Numerous cultural relics can be found here, including the Fuxi Drawing Pavilion, the place where Confucius inquired about his fate, the Book Drying Platform, and the Resting Place.
