Taiping Bridge, located north of Yangcun Town in Longnan County, Jiangxi Province, spans the Taiping River. It is a double-deck, overlapping stone arch bridge with two spans, three piers, and four arches. Standing 50 meters long, its unique shape features four pavilions for pedestrians to admire and rest. First built during the Zhengde reign of the Ming Dynasty, it is a designated National Key Cultural Relic Protection Site. There are two versions of the Taiping Bridge, the older one, the upper one, built during the Zhengde reign. Located over a hundred meters upstream of the current bridge, only the eroded, mottled ruins remain. The lower one, rebuilt between the Jiaqing and Daoguang reigns of the Qing Dynasty, retains its main structure and is the present-day Taiping Bridge.
