Jimo Ancient City is located on Dongguan Street, Jimo District, Qingdao City.
Jimo County is bordered by lush mountains and azure sea to the east and thousands of acres of fertile farmland to the west. In modern times, Jimo carved out a Qingdao and carved out a Laoshan Mountain, practically offering a pearl and a piece of jade. Yet, Jimo remains beautiful and rich, blessed with mountains, sea, farmland, islands, and beaches.
Jimo was first recorded in classics such as "Strategies of the Warring States" and "Records of the Grand Historian". It was a famous city of Qi State during the Spring and Autumn Period and the Warring States Period. It was established as a county in the Qin Dynasty and a city in the Sui Dynasty. Stories such as the upright and incorruptible Jimo official, Tian Dan's defeat of Yan, Tian Heng's five hundred men, and Guo Xiu's three memorials have made Jimo famous in history.
Qingdao is located in the northern temperate monsoon region and has a temperate monsoon climate with humid air, abundant rainfall, moderate temperature and distinct four seasons.
