Jinta Temple, located at No. 35 Hongjue Temple Street, east of Nandajie in Xining City, was built around the Ming Dynasty. During the Qing Dynasty, it became a subsidiary pagoda of Ta'er Monastery. In 1958, the temple still contained an ancient Buddhist hall and nine monks' quarters, covering approximately one mu (approximately one mu). There were no monks residing there. Today, the ancient hall remains, while the rest have been demolished. In 1985, the temple was returned to Ta'er Monastery, with maintenance funded by the occupying entity and Ta'er Monastery, and managed by Ta'er Monastery personnel.
