It is named after its location in Lejiawan area on the south bank of Huangshui River. Originally a large forest on both sides of Lanqing Highway, it was densely forested, with wildflowers and green grass. Facing Huangchuan River to the north, it has long been a popular place for picnics and fishing for nearby residents.

The main gate of Huangle Park is located on the north side of the Lanqing Highway. Composed of several arched rings of varying sizes and shapes, it functions as both a gate and a sculpture, adding a touch of beauty to the Lanqing Highway. The park's central building is the Qin Garden. The Huangshui River is diverted into the park, flowing through it and forming a waterside pavilion. Surrounding the pavilion are various flower beds and greenhouses. Huangle Park's greatest feature is its preservation of its original natural forest landscape.
