Heshun Longtan, located in Heshun Town, Tengchong District, Baoshan City, is formed by an underground spring. The pond, covering dozens of acres, shimmers with rippling emerald waters, its waters crystal clear, and boasts numerous fish. The pond is adorned with exquisite stone railings, a stone pavilion nestled in the middle, and towering ancient trees by its banks. The Yuanlong Ancient Pavilion, built overlooking the pond, its reflection in the water creates a picturesque scene, a scenic spot in Heshun, a hometown of overseas Chinese. Legend has it that in ancient times, Heshun was plagued by a dragon. The ancestors of Heshun built the pond to honor the dragon, resulting in favorable weather and good harvests.
The tropical monsoon climate combines the advantages of continental and maritime climates. Winter and spring are sunny and warm, while summer and autumn have a mix of sunny and rainy weather and are cool and pleasant. All four seasons are suitable for travel.
