Xianhe Wetland offers a beautiful setting for birdwatching, nature walks, and photography. Visitors can enjoy the tranquility of the wetland ecosystem, observe various species of birds and other wildlife, or simply explore the walking trails around the area.

Xianhe Wetland is located in Heshun Ancient Town, Tengchong City, Baoshan City, Yunnan Province. Xianhe is a vast wetland at the entrance of Heshun Village. Because it's easy to sink into it, the people of Heshun unculturedly named it "Xianhe." While the name isn't poetic, a Heshun traveler has penned a captivating poem about it: "Home is good, the best is Xianhe. Purple swallows fly among the green willows, green cows lie by the red lotus pond, and we sail together in a lone boat."
Xianhe lacks the plank roads found in many wetlands. Entering along a narrow dirt path, you'll find a lush river flanked by willow trees on one side and lotus fields brimming with activity on the other. The river is filled with flocks of ducks, leisurely swimming and bathing. The lotus flowers in the fields haven't yet bloomed, and the leaves feel a bit lonely in the breeze. Occasionally, a small fish leaps from the water, a tiny flash of white light. A little further away, a few anglers, like old monks in deep meditation, appear daily. Egrets are the masters of this wetland, visible along the ridges, in the grass, on the treetops, and even in the sky.
The tropical monsoon climate combines the advantages of continental and maritime climates. Winter and spring are sunny and warm, while summer and autumn have a mix of sunny and rainy weather and are cool and pleasant. All four seasons are suitable for travel.
