Located on the coast of Fengcheng Township in Jimo City, the ancient city of Xiongyasuo is named for the majestic cliffs on Baima Island to its northeast. Xiongyasuo is a coastal fortress site in Jimo, Qingdao. Though incomplete, it retains a sense of history, with stone paving and seaweed roofs, hinting at Ming and Qing dynasty architecture.

The ancient city of Xiongyaso is located in Xiongyaso Village. The so-called "Xiongya" refers to a majestic ochre cliff on Baima Island northeast of the village.

Next to it is the Jade Emperor Temple, which consists mainly of a mountain gate and a shrine. The shrine is a single-eaved hip roof building. The main hall has a door but no windows and is divided into two rooms.
