King Gesar Square, located in Jiegu Town, Yushu Prefecture, Qinghai Province, takes its name from the statue of King Gesar in its center. Completed in July 2007 with a total investment of nearly 19 million yuan, the square covers 600 square meters and is currently the largest square in Yushu Prefecture.

The 21-meter-tall brass statue of King Gesar, a national hero embodied by the local Tibetan people based on the epic poem "King Gesar," is surrounded by portraits of King Gesar's beloved generals and depictions of their triumph over demons. Nearby are the Yushu State Museum and the King Gesar Cultural Center. Near the square are sculptures of Tibetans performing the Guozhuang dance, a lively and lifelike performance.
