Baishi Spring is located northeast of Heihu Spring, on the riverbank south of Jiefang Pavilion, and adjacent to Jiunu Spring to the west. Near the spring, white natural rocks lie prostrate. In the past, the spring's rapid gushing waves swayed and crashed against the white rocks, producing a clear sound. This is recorded in the "Jinan Prefecture Chronicle" from the Daoguang period of the Qing Dynasty.
White rocks lie prostrate beside the White Stone Spring, and its water, as sweet as nectar, can be used for both irrigation and drinking. During peak season, clusters of bubbles rise to the surface, creating ripples that blend with the algae and white rocks in the water, weaving a pattern of water patterns.
Jinan has a temperate monsoon climate with obvious monsoons and distinct four seasons: dry and rainy spring, warm and rainy summer, cool and dry autumn, and cold and snowy winter.
