Located in the middle section of Zhaotong Avenue in the northern new area of Zhaoyang District, the Zhaotong Museum, completed in 2011 and open to the public free of charge, is the city's only comprehensive museum. It covers an area of 3,722 square meters, with a building area of 13,400 square meters and an exhibition area of 6,500 square meters. The museum's exterior features a majestic ship and an ancient Han Dynasty seal, symbolizing the importance of history and pioneering spirit.
The Zhaotong Museum houses over 16,000 cultural relics representing a diverse range of cultural heritage.
