Shaanxi Fangshan Forest Park is located 20 kilometers northwest of Baishui County, Shaanxi Province. It borders Yijun County to the north, Tongchuan City to the west, Shiguan Township of this county to the east, and Yuntai, Xudao, and Yaohe Townships of this county to the south. It is currently the largest artificial afforestation base in Shaanxi.
Fangshan Forest Park is located in the remnant mountains and plains area of the Weibei Plateau, backed by Huanglong Mountain to the north and Yanmen Mountain to the west. The mountains are high in the northwest, east and low in the south, with the highest altitude of 1,547 meters. The main peaks include Quanta, Miaoshan, Huolangdanshan, Xiangluzhai, Jianshan and Yanmenshan.
The total land area under the jurisdiction of Fangshan Forest Park is 14,069 hectares (including 8,233 hectares of state-owned land and 5,836 hectares of collective land), 5,159 hectares of state-owned forest land, and a forest coverage rate of 62.8%.
