Tianbi Mountain Suburban Leisure Park is only 1 kilometer from Pu'er County, with a height difference of 520 meters. The steep rock formations rise from the ground, towering like a wall into the sky, hence the name Tianbi Mountain. At dawn, when the mist shrouds the majestic Tianbi Mountain, a dazzling display of vibrant colors often occurs. "Tianbi Dawn" is considered one of the "Eight Scenic Spots of Pu'er." Even more remarkable is the occasional sight of a double red sun rising in the east, accompanied by the Buddha's light, during the winter months of January and December.
Banyan trees abound in the mountains, growing alongside the rocks. Their roots cling to the cliffs, like a coiled dragon embracing a boulder, creating a natural bonsai of rock. At the summit of the cliff lies Lingyun Pavilion, from which one can gaze upon the mist-shrouded "Dragon Pond Autumn Moon" and other areas below. From the cliffside, panoramic views encompass the scenery, including the buildings of the county town. Sitting in the pavilion, one can cast aside all worries and joys – a truly magnificent vantage point for gazing from a height.
High up in Tianbi Mountain lies a natural cave. Its entrance boasts a hall that can accommodate over a hundred people, and a platform in front. The view from afar is breathtaking. In late winter and early spring, clouds swirl harmoniously in front of the cave, seemingly emanating from within. An ancient poem evokes the idea, "When will the fairies depart? Idle clouds lock the cave deep." Hence the name "Immortal Cave." "Immortal Cave Spring Clouds" is also one of the "Eight Scenic Spots of Pu'er County." Climbing further up the Xianren Cave, you'll reach Tianbi Mountain's highest peak, Felt Hat Peak. From here, gaze out to the west, gazing at the smaller mountains and east, the changing landscape of the tea-growing region.
