
Yuncui Mountain, located 2 kilometers south of Hongfanchi Town Government in Pingyin County, Shandong Province, lies west of Dazhai Mountain. The mountain range stretches north-south, with a ridgeline of approximately 5 kilometers and a height of 474.9 meters. Lush green forests blanket the mountain, creating intertwined shadows. Steep peaks rise, offering breathtaking scenery. Flowing mountain springs nourish the flowers and trees. Hidden mountain temples and numerous ancient sites loom. Deep forests, secluded temples, clear springs, and picturesque peaks make this a perfect spot for leisure and tourism.
The main buildings include the Jade Emperor Pavilion, Penglai Fairy Temple, Pingxu Pavilion, Changchun Pavilion, Zhenwu Temple, Sanzhen Temple, theater, and stands.
Qiu Chuji, the founder of the Longmen School of Quanzhen Taoism, practiced here. His disciples built a temple here, named Nantian Temple. At that time, it was one of the four famous temples (Beijing Baiyun Temple, Jinan Changchun Temple, Zoucheng Yishan Changqing Temple, and Hongfan Nantian Temple).
