The Qinling Cave Paradise Scenic Area is located in Shiwengzi Community, Xialiang Town, 13 kilometers south of Zhashui County, Shangluo City. It is a comprehensive scenic area that integrates tourism and rural leisure and vacation, featuring karst geological scientific research, cave geological landscapes, natural mountain rivers and other natural wonders, and local folk customs.
The Qinling Dongtian Fudi Scenic Area covers a total area of 5 square kilometers, with a core area of 2 square kilometers. It enjoys convenient transportation, being close to the ancient capital, just 82 kilometers from Xi'an. The Baomao Expressway, Xikang Railway, and Provincial Highway S102 traverse the area. The area boasts 118 caves of varying sizes, known as "Dongtian," and the town, named "Shiweng," is known for its location as a place where energy and blessings gather, hence the name "Fudi."
Zhashui, where the Qinling Dongtian Fudi Scenic Area is located, has a long history. Close to the ancient capital, it is the intersection of Qin and Chu cultures. Historically, hermits and literati loved this place. Zhang Liang and Han Xiangzi once practiced here, and famous poets such as Wang Wei and Jia Dao left immortal poems.
The warm temperate semi-humid monsoon climate features four distinct seasons, with rain and heat occurring in the same season, and distinct dry and wet seasons in the summer and winter. Avoid the cold winter and travel in spring, summer, and autumn.

The Zhashui Karst Cave, a core component of the Qinling Dongtianfudi Scenic Area, is a showcase of natural treasures sculpted by extraterrestrial geological forces. It symbolizes a place of wealth and prosperity. Within the cave, a dazzling array of stalactites, stalagmites, stone curtains, and draperies are breathtakingly beautiful. The stone birds, beasts, monkeys, and Buddhas are remarkably lifelike, while the translucent stone flowers, fruits, mushrooms, and grapes are mouth-watering.
Ginkgo Valley, 500 meters south of Zhashui Cave, boasts a beautiful ecological environment with over 80% vegetation coverage. Looking up, you'll see two ginkgo trees, one male and one female, standing face to face. These lush, thousand-year-old couples symbolize health, happiness, and tranquility, earning them the nickname "Kangning Land." The area boasts a Millennium Ginkgo Garden, the Kangning Hall, farmhouses, boutique B&Bs, a Ginkgo Villa, and leisurely hiking trails, among other amenities.
Gudaoling, nestled close to the Zhashui Karst Cave, is a diverse and engaging attraction offering a blend of sightseeing, touring, experiencing, participating, and understanding. Anciently known as the Zhengbei Road, it served as a crucial pass on the Qin-Chu Ancient Road. The bustling trade and travel through the mountains, where horses and people carried goods, left behind touching stories of great virtue, earning it the nickname "A Place of Virtue." Remnants of some of the plank roads and post stations along the ancient Qin-Chu Ancient Road remain. The scenic area has restored several thousand meters of suspended plank roads and post station ruins.
Duifengtai, located west of Provincial Highway 102 in Shiweng Community, Zhashui County, faces the Zhashui Karst Cave across the river. It is one of Zhashui's long-renowned peaks, steep and magnificent. Rising 1,090 meters above sea level, 400 meters above ground level, visitors must climb 610 meters of steps and a 110-meter winding S-shaped stone plank road to reach the summit. Duifengtai's abrupt peak, with its majestic peaks and sheer cliffs, resembles the Feilai Peak in Hangzhou and the Duxiu Peak in Guilin. The renowned Guanyin Temple on the summit attracts a constant stream of visitors and pilgrims year-round.
