Dashuichuan International Tourism Resort is located in Pingtou Town, Chencang District, Baoji City. The scenic area consists of three parts: Dashuichuan Scenic Area, Jiulongshan Scenic Area, Lingbao Gorge Scenic Area, Jiulongshan Hot Springs, and Nanyou Ancient City.
Dashuichuan Scenic Area is a pristine alpine meadow with layers of forest and vast grasslands. Dashuichuan was once a must-go place on the ancient Silk Road and served as the royal horse farm for many dynasties.
The scenic area boasts flat terrain, abundant water resources, dense forests, vast grasslands, and excellent vegetation, creating a picturesque landscape. The temperature in the forest area fluctuates little throughout the year. Even during the hottest summer months, temperatures outside the mountains can reach over 30 degrees Celsius, yet here, a cool breeze still reigns. It is a great place for horseback riding, archery, hunting, and simply relaxing in the summer heat.
It has a warm temperate semi-humid continental monsoon climate with distinct seasons: cold, warm, dry, and wet. Winters are cold, windy, foggy, and with little rain or snow; springs are warm, dry, windy, and changeable; summers are hot and rainy, with a prominent summer drought and frequent thunderstorms and strong winds; and autumns are cool, with a rapid drop in temperature and significant autumn rain.
