Jiulong Mountain, also known as Shangjiuyuan, is located in Xinmin Village, Pingtou Town, Chencang District. From a distance, its nine peaks converge, resembling a blooming lotus or nine dragons soaring into the sky. Since ancient times, it has been a sacred site for Buddhist and Taoist culture in western Guanzhong.
The unique scenery of Jiulong Mountain is composed of the Jade Emperor Tower, Wuliang Cave, Yaowang Cave, Sanxian Cave, Baxian Cave, Chuantian Cave, Lianhua Peak and Yaotao Cliff. The scenic area is picturesque with clear water and beautiful scenery. The nine peaks converge and embrace each other, resembling a blooming lotus or nine dragons soaring into the sky, hence the name.
