Taibaishan National Forest Park is located in Mei County, Baoji City, Shaanxi Province, at the northern foot of Taibai Mountain, the main peak of the Qinling Mountains. The park's main feature is the forest landscape, with the dramatic peaks of Cangshan Mountain forming its framework, and clear streams and emerald lakes forming its veins. The three major scenic areas of Longshan, Fengshan, and Fengquan offer visitors the chance to admire the eight scenic spots of Meixian County: Fengquan Shenze and Yudong Xianyin; climb to the ruins of Tangzi City, the summit of Fengshan, Fengquan Palace, and Shengong Stone; and visit the Taoist temples Qingniu Cave, Taibai Yaowang Temple, Longfengshan Temple, and Guanyin Cave. It has a warm temperate semi-humid continental monsoon climate with distinct seasons: cold, warm, dry, and wet. Winters are cold, windy, foggy, and with little rain or snow; springs are warm, dry, windy, and changeable; summers are hot and rainy, with a prominent summer drought and frequent thunderstorms and strong winds; and autumns are cool, with a rapid drop in temperature and significant autumn rain.
