The Crested Ibis Pear Garden Scenic Area, nestled at the foot of Niutou Mountain north of Yang County in Hanzhong, is nestled against the mountain and comprises the Crested Ibis Pear Garden, Crested Ibis Ecological Park, and Modern Agricultural Sightseeing Park. Modern horticulture blends seamlessly into the vast expanse of pear orchards stretching across tens of thousands of acres, the national treasure Crested Ibis soars freely, and the vibrant culture of Yangzhou flourishes. Folk customs and historical allusions are showcased throughout the area, creating an idyllic scene of harmonious coexistence between man and nature.
The Crested Ibis Ecological Park boasts a nearly 10,000-square-meter facility for the rewilding and domestication of crested ibises, allowing visitors to witness the birds' beauty at any time. The park also boasts 30 cages covering over 1,000 square meters, housing over 1,000 captive-bred crested ibises . Through conservation and breeding efforts, the national population has gradually reached nearly 2,000 , including over 700 wild individuals .
During the day, you can row a boat in the water, stroll in the shade of the trees, fish by the lake, pick fruits in the mountains, and drink wine in the breeze. It is comfortable and beautiful. At night, you can see the scenic area with brilliant lights, like stars in the sky, the Milky Way flying, and the colorful water curtain. It is like a dream, as if you have stepped into the fairy palace of Yaochi.
