Gaoming Tea Mountain actually refers to the boundary mountain between Gaoming, Heshan, and Nanhai. It's said to "straddle three counties (districts) with one mountain." In the past, there was a village called Motang on the mountain, where the villagers made their living by growing and trading tea. The tea produced here is fragrant and sweet, renowned far and wide, attracting many to buy tea, which led to the establishment of a thriving tea market. Hence, the mountain is also known as the Tea Mountain.
Speaking of scenery, the misty landscape of Tea Mountain is truly breathtaking, with rolling green hills appearing and disappearing through the dense fog. Beyond that, the surrounding scenery is also breathtaking: towering pine forests, interwoven ancient vines, and verdant forests. Climbing to the summit, a gurgling stream flows from the rock face. In the sunlight, it resembles a snow-white ribbon, creating a scene that's like "a waterfall plunging three thousand feet, like the Milky Way falling from the sky."
