Hainan Haishang National Forest Park is a national forest park focused on coastal mangrove conservation, scientific research, and tourism development. Its office is located within the Danzhou State-Owned Xinying Farm. The coastal park boasts a diverse array of mangrove species, including over 32 species from 15 families, including the elm, sea lotus, hornbeam, white marina, Kandelia ovata, and Tung blossom. Within and around the park, there are also large communities of banyan trees, large tamarind trees, and thousand-year-old strychnos nux vomica trees. Among the park's attractions are over 2,000 thousand thousand-year-old wild lychee trees, making it the first and most complete wild lychee forest discovered in Hainan.
In the Sea Forest Park, diverse tree species intertwine and interdependently grow along the shore, stretching for dozens of miles. This natural treasure trove of trees provides both a valuable resource for scientific research and protection from typhoons and tsunamis. It's an excellent habitat for fish and shrimp. At low tide, small fish, crabs, shellfish, and plankton accumulate on the beach, attracting thousands of seabirds to feed, creating a spectacular spectacle. On a beautiful day, taking a boat through the Sea Forest Park is like walking through an aquatic maze—a truly unique experience.
