The Shengjing Lantern Festival at Guandong Film and Television City is located in Shenyang City, Liaoning Province, and is held every year at Guandong Film and Television City in Qipanshan.
The Lantern Festival is divided into 6 major sections, exhibiting 65 large-scale lantern groups and more than 20,000 various colored lanterns and decorative lanterns.
The six major sections include the "Happy New Year" welcome area, the "European Plaza" style area, the "Snow Village Story" scenario display area, the "Spring Date" traditional area, the "Time and Space" lantern area, and the "Childhood World" cartoon and animation area. The Year of the Monkey is naturally accompanied by the "Monkey Reaching for the Moon" lantern show, as well as vibrant traditional lantern sets such as "Puppet Fish Bringing Blessings" and "Flowers Blooming for Prosperity." Over 20 lantern sets are over 15 meters long, including super-large ones such as "Harmonious China" and "The Twelve Zodiac Signs Lantern Festival," each exceeding 20 meters in length.
The European-style square light group is a representative of the graceful European exotic characteristics. This light group is a highlight theme light that has been created with emphasis. It is the tallest, largest and most advanced light group in this lantern festival, and it holds the title of the tallest, longest and largest in area. It is also the largest group of lights in the Liaoshen area.
Its seamless European-style building complex consists of more than 10 large lighting groups and nearly 100 mood lighting groups, covering an area of more than 1,000 square meters. The lighting group spans 150 meters in length and reaches 18 meters at its highest point.
Several European-style buildings are connected end to end, and the castles are decorated with flowers. There are also Disney dolls performing dances in the middle of the lights in the open space of the square.
