The forest farm is located in the outskirts of Urumqi. Visitors can reach it by taxi, rideshare, or private car. Some bus routes may get close, but walking from city center is not practical.
Generally open from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Spring, summer, and autumn are the best times to visit due to favorable weather and vibrant natural scenery.
Entry fee is usually modest, around 20–40 CNY. Tickets can be purchased at the entrance; online booking may be available for groups or special events.
For casual visits, advance booking is not required. For guided tours or group visits, booking a few days in advance is recommended.
