The Qianchong Ancient Ginkgo Ecological Tourism Area, located in Wangyizhen Town in western Anlu City, boasts one of my country's two largest remaining naturally occurring ancient ginkgo clusters, earning it the title of "Ginkgo Town." The area boasts abundant natural resources and stunning scenery, with towering ancient ginkgo trees stretching across the landscape. The Qianchong Ancient Ginkgo Ecological Tourism Area boasts not only exceptional natural scenery but also rich cultural heritage. From 1939 to 1941, Li Xiannian led his troops in battle here. A large number of revolutionary relics, including the former sites of the New Fourth Army's Fifth Division, the Fifth Division Headquarters, the Fifth Division Political Department, the Fifth Division Hospital, and the July 7th Newspaper Office, remain well-preserved.
Best in autumn, October-November
Another major feature is graphite. Most of the roads here are paved with graphite. There's also a graphite museum and a graphite waterfall with the inscription "Stone Brings Fortune" (meaning "the stone brings luck"). There are also Tang and Song dynasty-style buildings, framed by ginkgo trees, creating a tranquil and beautiful scene. There's also a love tree and the filming location for the movie "Nie Yinniang." The stories here continue to unfold.
