Dongjiahe, known as the "Jiuzhaigou Valley of Western Hubei," comprises the Dongjiahe River, Wulong Mountain, and Wanren Cave Scenic Areas. The unique landscape of "trees growing in the water, water flowing through the trees" is a special feature of Dongjiahe. Green mountains, canyons, caves, and rivers create this breathtaking natural landscape. Visitors can take a boat trip on the river, admire the scenery along both banks, see the exquisite stilt houses, cross the wind and rain bridges, and experience the rich Tujia customs.
The four seasons are distinct, the climate is pleasant, the mountains are green and the waters are clear, and the scenery is beautiful.
On both sides of the river, there are scenic spots such as "Three Lions Driving an Elephant" and "Nine Tortoises Seeking Their Mother", mountain waterfalls, idyllic villages, karst caves, ancient trees and temple ruins, and wind and rain bridges. The forest vegetation surrounding the mountain and the villages after the rain are shrouded in mist and rain, making people linger.
