Dabie Mountains
The Dabie Mountain National Forest Park stretches across the Central Plains, stretching out in a long line. It is famous for its grandeur, strangeness, danger and seclusion. Its main peak, Tiantangzhai, is 1,729 meters above sea level and is known as the "No. 1 Peak in the Central Plains."
Dongpo Chibi
Renowned writer Su Shi (also known as Dongpo), exiled to Huangzhou for his role in the Wudai Poetry Case, often found inspiration here, composing the immortal poem "Nian Nu Jiao: Nostalgia for the Red Cliff," two fu poems (the former and the latter "Red Cliff Fu"), and other masterpieces. Later generations linked Red Cliff with Su Dongpo's name, creating the Dongpo Red Cliff. Research has also linked this area to the site of the Battle of Red Cliff during the Three Kingdoms period.
